Avision GmbH is an IT service provider specializing in software revival for application development and support. As an alternative to complete new implementations, which are often costly and risky, Avision modernizes companies’ legacy software in an efficient way. Our team currently comprises 140 employees – experts with more than 25 years of professional experience, but also young professionals with fresh ideas.
Your tasks
- As a member of one of our cross-functional teams, you develop customized software solutions in diverse and exciting projects for large clients.
- You support us in the further development and modernization of complex web applications based on Java, Jakarta EE, and Java Server Faces (JSF).
- You influence the introduction of new technologies and contribute your ideas to the modernization and advancement of our clients’ software.
- You are free to choose the operating system for your laptop (Windows or Linux).
Your profile
- High level of initiative and a solution-oriented, independent way of working
- Open and flexible personality who enjoys working in a motivated and innovative team
- Solid experience in developing web applications based on Java Server Faces, JavaScript, and JavaEE/JakartaEE
- Proficient in SQL, preferably with experience in Oracle RDBMS
- Desired but not essential – experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, and Maven
- Very good German language skills
